Health experts, governments officials, international agencies and
media representatives across the world are presently gathered in the
United States for the 2013 global summit on the treatment of HIV.
The summit which was organised by the United States and tagged
“American Conference on the Treatment of HIV” will be taking place at
the Sheraton Hotel in Denver, Colorado state between the 21st and 23rd
March, 2013.
According to the conference director, Ms. Debbie Cookee, the
conference is state-of-the-science conference for frontline health care
professionals, in scientific collaboration with multiple federal and
independent agencies.
The American Conference for the Treatment of HIV is designed for all
frontline clinicians providing HIV care for various population groups
and It will offer satellite symposia to be held during the major
conference.
During the summit, speakers and governments representatives will be
made to speak on the developments that have been achieved in the fight
against HIV by the different governments in their countries.
Apart from this, health experts, international organisations and
others wll be made to speak on the different ways to prevent, cure and
manage HIV without stigmatiization on affected persons.
The organisers stated that the slated one to two hour satellite
events will be offered free of cost to all attendees of the 2013 ACTHIV
conference and will be separate from the education provided by the
conference.
